25 miscreants killed as they attempted to damage Kohat tunnel
KOHAT: At least 25 miscreants were killed when army gunship fired at militants trying to damage the Kohat tunnel, military official said. The gunship fired at the militants as they gathered to damage the Kohat Tunnel, which links the towns of Kohat and Darra Adam Khel, the official said. ISPR confirmed the clashes in the area.
Meanwhile, militants fired rockets in Kohat amid military action in Dara Adam Khel on Saturday. No reports of causality were reported. Sources said that the first rocket was landed in a park but failed to detonate. Later, the bomb squad defused the rocket.
Some unknown persons fired at Pakistan State Oil’s tankers but failed to cause any damage since the tankers were empty. A rocket fell in front of DIG’s office, causing only minor injuries to a policeman while another rocket landed on a residential unit outside KDA Gate number 2 but hurt no one. Two rockets also landed in front of Assistant Political Agent FR office at Peshawar Road, damaging two vehicles and a house.-SANA
