Chelum of Benazir Bhutto
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party has invited all political parties, lawyers, civil society members, students and NGOs for participation in the “Chelum” of Benazir Bhutto. “Chelum” of Benazir Bhutto will be held all over the country Wednesday. Quran Khawani and condolence references will be held in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Naudero and other places.
In Rawalpindi, PPP will organize Quran Khawni at 2:00 pm at Liaquat Bagh. Dua will be held at 4:00 pm. Food by Naheed Khan, Political Secretary of Benazir Bhutto will be served. At 5:12 pm, candles will be alighted at the site of the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto, outside Liaquat Bagh.
Later, the participants will go to the Central Hospital with alighted candles and lamps.
Quran Khawani for BB held
ISLAMABAD: The Women’s Wing of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) held a Quran Khawani at Zardari House in Islamabad to pray for the departed soul of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Farahnaz Ispahani, PPP ticket holder, Nargis Faiz Malik, President Islamabad City, Uzma Jahangir, Azra Bano, Shameem Ijaz, Sumaira Gul, Sumaira Khan, Mrs. Surayya and many others participated. This was the last Quran Khawani at Zardari House, Islamabad before the 40th day of mourning to be formally observed on Thursday.-SANA
