ISLAMABAD: Seven members elect of the National Assembly from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Wednesday pledged support to the Pakistan Peoples Party in the post-election set up of the country.
The members elect expressed support when they met the PPP Co-chairman
Senator Asif Ali Zardari in the Parliament Lodges in Islamabad Wednesday. Those who pledged support included Nur ul Haq Qadri and Hamidullah Khan Afridi from Khyber Agency, Munir Aurakzai and Jawad Hussain Aurakzai Agency, Malik Bilal Rahman Momand Agency, Shaukatullah Khan Bajaur Agency and Zafar Beg Bhittani Frontier Regions.
Senator Asif Zardari thanked them for their support to the PPP and said that the party would give top priority to peace and security in the tribal areas and looks forward to their valuable support in this task.-SANA
